basically im sending a r9 290 back on ebuyer as it is overheating and causing bsod and its loud and really hot and makes my room unbearable and getting store credit I THINK, but ive been looking at this benq monitor for 116 http://www.ebuyer.com/519826-benq-gl2450hm-24-led-vga-d...

so i will be getting 310 from my 290 and if i add some money to it ill probably have 205 left after buying the monitor, what gpu should i get, my current monitor btw is a dell 22 inch 1680x1050 but i have a samsung 32 inch led tv right next to it that i like to play on, my pc specs are:

AMD 8320
corsair h100
ASROCK extreme3 990fx
corsair venegance 8gb 1600mhz
corsair cx750m
120gb sandisk ssd
1tb samsung 7200rpm drive
500gb (unsure of brand forgotten) 7200 rpm

so basically what am i best off getting? a new monitor? or all out on gpu? or for example a 280x and a 240gb ssd or something like that, just give me ideas as im blank... btw i custom built my pc

ALSO i currently have a hd 6950 that i had lying around in my pc atm while my 290 has been sent away, just bear that in mind

Simple: get the 760 or the 280x, then get the monitor and RAM. There is no perceptible way that you are going to tell the difference between the 760 and 770 --- or 280x and 290x. You already have a good SSD (hopefully boot device) and really, that's all it should be for (reading, not writing). Looks like you have plenty of storage. I think your RAM could use a bump to 16GB.

Good luck!

thank you Implied, i think my ram does need the upgrade tbh as it sometimes get 60% usage on chrome alone (ALOT of tabs haha) and it needs a friend to take some of the load haha

Thanks again
