Hi guy, just a really quick question
I've currently got a 760 HAWK edition and i know you can only run the same card in SLI.
But can i run a 760 Gaming edition in SLI with my HAWK edition. From what i understand i can i would just have to match up the speed of the two?
Is this correct?

as long as the cards are from the same series they will work. ie 2 760gtx's will work together regardless of manufacturer. they will however work at the speed of the slowest card if they have differing timings.
you may have issues if you try to use a none reference card with a reference 1 if you try to run them with overclocks as the none reference board will likley have different voltage requirements at the higher clock speeds that the referance 1 isnt designed to deliver. so you will likely be stuck at stock speeds and voltages.

Yes, it will function, and run at the lowest common denominator of performance.
You will need about a 700w psu to support two cards.

You will win more FPS benchmarks.
But... dual gpu's have their own set of issues such as stuttering and screen tearing that are the results of slightly different card capabilities.

Consider instead the option of marketing your GTX760 and replacing it with a single stronger card.
