Hi, I'm soon upgrading my video card from my 6850 to a 770, but i can't decide between 4gb or 2gb. Budget isn't really a a huge issue, but i don't want to overspend if i don't need to. I currently only use a single 144hz 1080p monitor. I don't plan on playing on multiple monitors, not until a few years. My biggest concern as well is sound. My 6850 running csgo at all high with 144hz @ 764res is pretty loud. Wow high/ultra gets the fan going as well. Would the amount of ram influence the load & sound by a lot?

I also stream once in a while and render through vegas here and

On top of that, I have an antec 620w psu. I'm assuming that it's enough to handle a 770.

Solution
The PSU will be fine. Since you won't be using multiple monitors, just go with 2GB. The VRAM won't affect the noise. If you want truly silent, you can get custom watercooling.
From all the research I have done, the extra 2gb of vram will make very little performance gains (iv read no more than 2-3fps, depending on game) in game at 1080p, or even at 1440p-1600p
However, I have no idea about video editing, if Vegas makes use of large amounts of vram, the extra may be beneficial.
I run a 770 and 3770k and I measure 350w max
at the wall, so if you have a high quality PSU then you should probably be fine
