770 with 980?

Hello,
Right now I have zotac gtx 770, and I'm planned on buying a msi gtx 980. So my question is, can these 2 video cards work together?

Not in SLI no, but they can separately to power more monitors, you won't see a performance boost.

Right now, as far as gaming goes, you can dedicate the 770 to physx but that's it. So unless the game you're playing uses physx you won't be gaining any performance.

SLI setups require cards to be the same model.
