Question 7700 xt power connection

I'm getting a 7700xt gpu and i'm curious how should i connect it ? It has 8+8 pin connection, so should i get 2 different cables with 1 connector from each or just 1 cable with 2 connectors ?

You'll need 2. PCIe spec is 75W from the slot and 150W from each 8-pin, and the 7700 XT has a TGP of 240W; a single output from the PSU split into two connectors plus the slot power is 225W. It might be enough in practice depending on your PSU, but personally I wouldn't risk it - two PCIe cables are much cheaper than a whole new power supply (or maybe even a whole new house if it starts a fire)!

It is always better to use 2 cables for connecting a GPU. Using 1 cable with 2 connectors on it could cause the cable to melt if too much current goes over the cable.
