For someone who isn't interested in gaming, will the integrated graphics in a chip like the Ryzen 7700X be adequate? I'm talking about for things like youtube videos at 2X speed and zoom meetings. I know I could build with a Ryzen 5700G and get integrated graphics that are probably sufficient but the 7700X is newer and faster overall so should last longer for me. Similarly I suppose I could choose an Intel 13600 or something like that but I believe its integrated graphics are even less powerful than either or the Ryzen chips. I don't really want to add the cost and complexity of a GPU if I don't need it.

Just displaying video output takes nothing when you consider stuff like a firestick can do it.

What would make a difference is when you use the video system more as a cpu to calculate stuff which is a huge part of what games do.

If don't game or do heavy graphics/video editing (and need the speed) I would NOT pay for a dedicated GPU.

I have a 7700x machine for a TV/media PC. I use it for netflix/youtube, sports etc. ZERO issues.

It works great.

I would not hesitate to use onboard video.

Mine understanding is intel has "better" onboard (minus the G skews).

but just watching youtube or running dual monitors you won't ever notice the "better".

It can do 4k 60fps.
