Hi,

Do you think I could temporarily use just the integrated graphics for adobe illustrator just for a little bit while I save up to get a GPU? I plan to get the 7700x. I can link my potential build as well

I can link my potential build as well
Go ahead!
General consensus online is Intel is more stable with Adobe applications, so I'd be willing to modify your build a bit if stability is of utmost importance.

Yes, according to Adobe's requirements for Illustrator, pretty much anything can run it. However, it recommends OpenGL, and nVidia cards in general perform significantly better in OpenGL programs than AMD cards, so I'd keep that in mind when you go to buy your GPU in the future.

Is there any reason specifically for waiting? 5000 series is coming out at the end of 2024, so I actually agree that it would be a good idea to wait.

Don't judge me too hard, now.

I heard that as well, the issue is that my step-father and brother have both said to go with AMD even though its not best for what I want to use the PC for

Noted!

I do not currently have ANY money for ANY parts so I have to wait anyways for lots of things. I was told by my step-dad that not buying a GPU I would be saving a lot of money and that I "don't need one right away" although I think he is wrong about this.

I will most likely buy my PC in August.

CPU: Good CPU, still recommend Intel.
Cooler: Good choice.
RAM: Ryzen's do not work well with anything other than DDR5-6000, thumbs down on this choice.
Motherboard: Strong VRMs, good choice.
SSD: Junk, but assuming since there's no price on it you already have it? If not, I recommend a Sabrent Rocket 4 Plus 2TB
PSU: Best PSU you can buy right now IMO, excellent choice.
Case: No comment; whatever looks good to your eye and has good airflow (this does).
Fans: Order another kit of 3. 3 exhaust on the top, 3 intake on the side, 1 exhaust at the back is considered optimal for this case.

Overall great job. RAM and SSD suck but that's not a big deal. If switching to Intel, I'd suggest sidestepping to the i5-13600K or i5-14600K (Intel took an L per usual and the difference between the two is so small you could stick with last gen and be fine).

Here is your build modified to be Intel based: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/2njDh3

Unless they are monetarily restricting you from going Intel, ignore them. Ryzen is better than Intel in many ways; this is not one.

Your father is correct, but with a caveat. Do you play video games? If yes, are we talking Minecraft or Metro Exodus?
