775 chipset upgrade?

I'm new here. I currently have an Intel Core 2 Duo e6750, 775 chipset. I was wondering what would be a few noticeable options to upgrade staying with the 775 chipset.

Depending on the motherboard, you should be able to upgrade to a Core 2 Quad processor!

Yeah, it depends on your motherboard. Older chipsets will only recognize Q6xxx CPUs, newer chipsets can recognize the Q8xxx and Q9xxx series CPUs. It also depends on your budget.

Intel may have killed the 775, but it is still a good platform and if you can find memory and cpu's cheap on ebay, will still do a good job if your not after bleeding edge gaming.
