Hello, i have Gigabyte P35-DS4 Rev 1.0 with one broken pin on it.
According to this image:
775-pinout.png

my broken pin seems to be labeled as M8.
Now here:https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/desktops/socket-test-technology-lga775-1-note.html

on page 22 it says that M8 belongs to VCCP group of pins.

Is that pin important, what does it do and is it safe to place some cpu in that socket?

Thank you!

i fully tested every single possible scenario and this is what i figure out :
When using my main cpu X5460, i couldnt make it work in dual channel memory configuration, but in single channel works great.
When using old Pentium d 630, i was able to run memtest multiple times with it in dual channel and single channel without any problems.
Maybe that pin caused my x5460 to fail or just cant deliver that much power to cpu?
What do you think?
