I am moving over from console to pc gaming, and I want to have a solid but reasonably cheap gaming rig. I would like to keep the price as low as possible, but still get good enough performance to last me through the next gen of games.
I have done a lot of research, but I am still stuck on whether to get the Radion HD 7770 1gb, the GeForce 650 Ti 1gb for minimum of £10 more or the GeForce 650 Ti for minimum of £30 more than the 7770.
I don't know how much of a difference the extra gb will give me as I am only going to use a single monitor at 1080p. Is the extra cost worth it for now? Should get the 7770 now and then potentially upgrade the the Ti Boost at a later date? Would appreciate your responses.

Solution
Welcome to PC gaming.

A 7770 isn't an entirely bad choice on a budget. A GTX 650 Ti Boost would be very nice.

Seeing as it also scales really well in SLI.

Okay thanks. I'm not planning in using SLI as the motherboard I have chosen doesn't support that, but when I get the money I think I'll upgrade.
