78 MB file taking 20 minutes to extract(For Honor)

The setup.exe file is taking 20 minutes to extract a 78 Mb file. The game is For Honor. In the task Manager it says,
Setup.exe 19484k, while,

chrome 74476k

any ideas???

What extractor program are you using? Default Windows?

You could try to use 7zip or Winzip instead.

could be some sort of on-access utility from a virus scanner.

I ran the setup.exe that came with the DVD and the same setup.exe file is extracting the setup_1.bin file...

The setip has extracted 16 GB in 6 Hours, one of the extracted file was 78 mb and i recorded the time to extract it. ummm how to add screenshots???

sys reqs for that game are 30GB HDD space

what's the spec of your PC? and as above, how much free HDD space do you have?
