[SOLVED] 780 GPU Issue

Hello everyone. Recently I decided to install my bitspower water block on to my old 780 lightning (yes I know it’s old lol). I followed all the instructions and the install went without any issues. I then proceeded to connect the to install the two 8 pin power cables and it doesn’t turn on. I remove one 8 pin and the pc turns on but doesn’t display an output. Any idea why it’s happening? It was working fine.

Maybe the other 8 pin connection is at fault look at the solder joints on the PCB board to see if there’s any damage.

Also a lighting 780 I heard that’s very rare...

thanks for the reply. I switched the plugs around and it still didn’t work. I believe it’s one of the plugs that are not working. Because the system turns on with just one of the 8 pins. Not both.
