780 ti and bf4

with my new 780 ti im only getting about 55-60 fps on most maps. my guess is that my 8320 is holding me back but i could be wrong. or if bf4 just that terribly optimized.

+ i just ordered a i7 4790k so should i see a performance upgrade

AMD CPU... yep, that's the problem. You'll see a huge improvement switching to Intel, even if it was just a 4670k or 4690k.

My FX-8350 can easily do over 80fps on high settings (at which point the GPU starts to bottleneck in most maps), so I don't think the CPU is causing this...

yea i have a i7 on the way....ive been loving my AMD cpus over the years, but you cant beat a i7

ill have to take a look, i know vsync is on and the resolution scale is at 100%

Vsync's purpose is to limit the fps to 60. Turn that off and you should see a big improvement.
