7800GT or wait for 7900GT.. need advice

Greetings,

Alright.. I need a PCI-Express video card. I found this card at newegg - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814130249

$294 USD

It's an 256MB eVGA GeForce 7800GT with a core clock of 470MHz, Mem clock of 1100MHz.


Should I get this, or should I wait for the GeForce 7900GT to come out (I hear it's coming out within a week, correct me if I'm wrong). When the 7900GT comes out.. will that drop the price of the 7800GT? Will the 7900GT cost the same as the 7800GT does now?

Help me out please, I need to make a decision!

About the same price $309 you could get a X1800XL AIW as a option.
Feature packed card that is great bang for the buck.
