780i compatibily w/ memory

the Gskill 2x2 gb ddr2 1000 is not listed as a compatible memory module for nvidia's 780i chipset. would it still work??? what happens if i try to use it?

there is good chance they will work, but as they are not listed that means they didnt test this concrete brand and type and there is some slight chance it would either not work, or have some issues.
