780ti drivers still in infancy?

I upgraded from a gtx680 to a gtx780ti but the ti performs worse than the 680 on some games namely splinter cell blacklist and far cry 3. My 680 ran those games flawlessly but the ti is finding frame rate dips somehow on certain areas that were smooth on the 680. I'm running the games only in 1400x900 resolution.
Do you guys think that the drivers for the ti are in it's infancy?

16gb ram (unsure of the speed)

You have a 2000 dollar computer and play on 1400x900? That is nuts, anyway I have a gtx 780 ti and i have not seen any drive issues so far, i also upgraded from a gtx 680... it might just be those two games... I can't really help you though because i don't have those games lol. Have you looked for reviews of the gtx 780 ti for those two games you have issues with? I'll take a look and see if i can find anything.
