Going for 39" triple screen with 5760 x 1080p.

Game is Assetto Corsa and would like to play like I can with max antialiasing and 8 x spars grid with my current gtx480 sli but this is done on single screen.

I want the same settings but in triple screen.

Do I need the 780TI or 770 with 4GB of Vram?

Thanks guru's

p.s cpu is running 4.2ghz , i7

With that high of a resolution and cranking up the aa, video memory will become an issue quickly. I doubt you will get the same settings at playable rates with a single card, regardless of the model. If you lower aa and sparse grid to say 2x or 4x (you want both of these values to match for best image quality...setting aa to say 16x and sparse grid to 8x will look worse than both at 4x) you may be fine. The problem with the 780ti is that it doesnt have enough memory for 3 monitors...but it is a fair bit more powerful than the 770...

Personally, I would not get a 780ti for a 3 monitor setup right now. You need more memory. A 770 4GB would be good though, with possibly adding another card at some point.

Just my 2 cents...hope it helps.

EDIT: Kind of a tough call imo though...

It is a tough call. Atleast the 770 gives you a option of going SLI and having that PRECIOUS 4GB of vram.

Would 770 SLI be perfect for the triple screen ...

Maybe the safe option is one single GTX TITAN? Is it a mistake to buy a titan? I think 6GB vram could be the holy grail for gaming for two years on.

if that titan wasnt so flippin expensive...

You might want to hold out for the titan black that will be coming out in a month or so. It is basically a 780ti with 6GB ram. Still lots of money though.

I like the idea of 770 sli...cost wise that is probably the smartest choice.

EDIT: If it helps, I have 2x 680 4GB's in sli (so very nearly identical to 770 4gb's), running a 1440p monitor. Works great. Can crank everything all the way up (tho i dont play the game you are interested in...).

What game's you play? Assetto Corsa won't be AS intense as Crysis, battlefield, COD etc.

but running close.

p.s IF 780 ti black series does come out it it will probably cost £800 anyway

I have a sneaky feeling 4gb vram will be enough but will the cards themselves i.e 770's be FAST enough.

The games I play are skyrim (loaded up with mods it actually needs all that memory), metro(everything cranked up...no ssao, but still looks great), crysis(got to go easy on the sparse grid), Dark Souls, Far Cry, total war, and a bunch of obscure strategy games and simulators.

1 770 probably wont be fast enough...but 2 will.

If the money is not an issue then wait for the titan black. :)
