7850 or 6870 quad 3.5GHz

i can get the HD 7850 for 320$. or the HD 6870 for 240$.

with an Intel core 2 Quad q8300 OCed to 3.5GHz, am I going to see a difference if I get either of those two cards ?

and if I get the 6870, with the extra money i can buy a new case, a 550W power supply, 2gb ddr2 and a 160gb hard drive.

max resolution i'm ever going to run is 1280x1024

Get a7850 over a 6870 any day but if you are in the us or canada checkout neweg.com prices are much much cheaper then where you are looking at.
