Hello,

I just installed a new Ice Q 7850 2g gpu. Whenever I play games like Borderlands or WoW I experience very feint screen waves and occasional screen tearing. However, this only happens when Im playing a game. Is this a defect in my new gpu or possibly my monitor?

I Have:
i7 3370 (3.4ghz)
windows 8 -64bit
8G memory
1TB hd
600W corsair modular psu
7850 Ice Q

I believe I have the lastest AMD drivers, 9.12.0.0. I did have to use an adaptor to hook my monitor up to my new graphics card. When I used to hook up my monitor to my old laptop, I would experience these same problems, but it was all the time.

Thanks!

Okay, so I think I messed up =/. I had a nvidia 620 in it before. When I was looking around I noticed I still had a bunch of Nvidia stuff in my installed programs list. So I began to uninstall them, I was figuring that now since I have an AMD I dont need to nvidia. Well, it required a restart, so I did. Now when my computer reboots, the monitor just flashes on and off and I get absolutly no picture. Was it wrong of me to uninstall that Nvidia stuff? ( On a laptop now on a different user name )

I did uninstall them. When I was prompt with a restart, I did. But when it rebooted, nothing comes on the screen. It just flashes on and off. I can't get into the computer.

Hey was having the same problem as a few people on this site. I was using my VGA to DVI adapter that came with the card for my vga monitor and it was driving me crazy. All new drivers uninstalled plenty of times, tried few tricks nothing. I seen a thread about not using that dvi adapter and just bought a DVI-d Cable and voila, problem fixed, rocking 250 fps in league of legends no tearing, didnt see any screen glitches either.

Give the dvi-d cable or hdmi cable a try and dont use the VGA to DVI adapter and see if this fixes your problem.
