[SOLVED] 785gb instead of 1TB on my HDD

yes, yes, I know that when you buy an ssd or an hdd and it says 1tb and you're supposed to have less because windows counts a megabyte as 1024kb (correct me if I am wrong). but recently I moved my 1tb hdd into my new pc, in my old one, for some reason, it was shown as disk C(785gb) and disk D( around 140 gb). in my new pc I have only one which says 785gb, I checked the hdd, it says 1 tb. why did it separate my hdd into two disks in the first pc? how do I fix this?

P.S: it was a prebuilt pc, there was a good deal...
