7870 or 7950?

I am about to change my graphics card and I have two options, a sapphire 7870 OC or a sapphire vapor-x boost 7950.
Buying the 7950 would imply a significant effort for me so what I wanted to ask is: Is the 7950 worth it?

If you're gaming at 1080p for the foreseeable future, maybe no need to get a 7950.

While I personally prefer the 7950 (compared to 670/680/7970) in most cases, it's probably not worth it compared to the 7870.

+1 to that - the gain isn't really worth the cost. I'd actually say the gain of the 7870 isn't worth the cost over a GTX660 (less than 5% gain on average - you wouldn't be able to tell the difference).
