7870 to GTX 670

At the moment I have a Sapphire AMD 7870 Overclocked.

Would upgrading to a GTX 670 be a worthwhile upgrade if I overclock it? It will be the Gigabyte Version.

I have an i5 3570k 4.3ghz
8gb 1600mhz RAM
750 Watt XFX

Yes, that's worth it. If you are not in a hurry, AMD will announce a new line of graphics card on September 25. If you cannot wait till the new cards come around, then jump in.

That won't be upgrading. That's downgrading. The GTX 670 is better in certain games, but the 7970 in most cases, is comparable to the GTX 680.

Unless you want it for things like CUDA, PhysX or 3D, it is totally not worth it.

If you already have a 7870 it's not that much of a step up to warrant the change. If your motherboard supports CF and you have the PSU for it then you'd be better off getting a second 7870 to run in CF.

Wrong actually.

They run at similar speeds, very very similar performance. But the 760 is $250 and the 670 is minimum of 300, so therefore it wins everytime.
