7870 Xfire or Single 7970 Ghz Edition

Running a single monitor 120hz 1920x1080 http://www.ncix.ca/products/?sku=66305&vpn=XL2420T&manufacture=BenQ&promoid=1306. What would be better in terms of performance? I want the most fps possible and OCing the GPUs.

I would always suggest getting the single most powerful GPU the budget can get.
That way, you can just add a 2nd of that particular GPU in the future if ever you need more FPS.

That Vapor-X should prove quite a great overclocker as well, though price vs performance is arguable.
