79.99 SSD vs. 109.99 SSD

The 79.99 one has a sandforce controller. the 109.99 does not.

$30 is a pretty big difference, but I have heard a ton of bad things about SandForce

Sandforce controllers work great, they just break sometimes. If they're going to break, they'll break within the first 30 days or so.

I have numerous SSDs all based on the second generation Sandforce controllers

If it breaks, RMA it. It's not likely to happen but it can happen
