Hello guys, im planning to upgrade my video card. In my work, i use applications like Adobe Photoshop, Cinema 4d, considering AutoCaD and 3ds MAX. Wont do video editing but will consider later maybe using Adobe Premiere and After Effects.

The only games i will be playing are Starcraft 2 series, racing games. BF3 and COD campaign only.

My current pc specs:
CPU: i7 3770 (non-k)
Mobo: H77M-D3H
Ram: 16GB
PSU 650w

I am having a hard time deciding which card to choose. 7950, 660 or 660ti. i have read a lot of reviews about the 3 cards but tempt to check on 7950 more. Does 7950 does a great job on 3D Rendering and Graphics designs? Will it have any advantage over nvidia's when it comes to video editing? Thank guys.

Really ether card would work good for what you need. I tend to lean more to AMD/ATI cards but just like CPU's that is more of a personal choose anymore than anything. Out of the three rigs I have a FX-8120 with a Crossfire Sapphire HD 7950 a FX-8350 with a Crossfire Sapphire HD 7970 and a i5 3570k with a SLI Gigabyte GTX 670. Out of the three I prefer the two FX rigs. I use Photoshop quite abit as well as Blender and a few other apps and they all perform very well on my AMD/ATI rigs.

Some have said that AMD/ATI does not work well on ATI GPU's but that has not been my experience with my rigs. All in all you can't go wrong with a 7950. If you do choose to go with AMD/ATI I would suggest getting a Sapphire from the many AMD/ATI cards I have had Sapphire seems to be the best.
