Ok I have narrowed the choices from prior posts to either a 760 or 7950. Not sure which to choose though. I do 50/50 gaming/media center usage.

I might be wrong but looks like in Benchmarking (which is all we have to go on besides owning it and trying it) the 7950 beats 760 on all normally benchmarked games. I know both are "very good" but I want to buy either of the two and want to know which to go with. Can someone help and explain rather than throw out a name and say get this?

My choices (help from another post) if 760:
1. MSI
2. Gigabyte

I am not sure what to choose if 7950 is better:
-*please make recommendations* as to 1 or 2 great 7950 cards. I planned on spending up to the price of a 760, but the comparison of the 7950 came up.

I have an AMD FX 8530, Gigabyte GA990FXA-UD3 4.0, and a CM 700V and "planned to overclock my PC".
More about : 7950 760

Get the cheapest if you don't mind a little noise, get the vapor-X if you want quiet . However if you want to overclock the card get the flex or dual-x version anyway because the vapor-x is voltage locked i believe.

What 7950 would you recommend? Like I said, MSI or Gigabyte has the best 760 reviews, but I am not sure which 7950 as I dont know much about them. I want one I can maybe overclock and get max performance out of. Also, good bargain.
