7950 variant or 660ti?

Hi guys, well I'm selling my Gigabyte 7850 this week and I want to pick up a 7900 series card or equivalent. I have read about the 4th quarter release of the 8 series and plus a 7900 card will easily handle everything I want to do (High end gaming, minor multi tasking, watching HD videos). I guess my question is, should I go with AMD or Nvidia? I've been with AMD for awhile now, from cpu's to gpu's I really love AMD. Best bang for the buck.

I've looked at the various 7950's and I want to make sure I am getting a card that has 3GB of ddr5, because getting a 2gb card isnt going to bring me much further than my 7850 which is still an awesome card. also which model would people recommended? Either for the 660 or 7950. Thanks everyone! My specs are in my sig!

Haha, yea I have been leaning towards the AMD cards. What brand should I go with though? I see you have an MSI (which I always here good about). I have a Gigabyte 7850 which has been great and runs sooo cool.

Umm I don't have brand preference...I picked MSI because they bundled more games with it at the time of purchase
i dont like the 7950 reference cooler as it has fan in the middle so it will blow some of the hot air inside the case

I would go for HIS one because of the cooler design

If you plan to overclock or play on high resolutions/crank up AA/AF/Play multimonitor, a 7950 easily beats a GTX660Ti.

If you don't, a 7950 still beats a GTX660Ti
