The GTO is getting harder to find lately. I doubt it'll last for more than a few weeks in stock, at this price anyway.

Performance wise, the reviews prefer the GTO (not by much, but still).
However, the 7950GT (usually) supports HDCP ... which will be handy for Vista/blu-ray content. Then again, the cooler on the GTO is quieter and more efficient ....

Read up a few reviews on both, compare benchmars, and make an educated choice :)

7900GTO- Better overclocking potential and performance
7950GT- HDCP
i heard wen u overclock to gtx speeds theres tons of artifacts

Not always, it is a possibility though. If you are into overclocking and have good case cooling (stock cooler is very good on the GTO) it will be the best price/performance you can get.

Crap, I totally forgot anything/everything about any screenies I might have promised :) Had a hellish 2 weeks ... refresh circuitry must have failed on my own internal mem :)

Mind reminding me what screenshots we are talking about?

7950GT has HDCP, is worth it. Perfect for Vista and if in some future you get a Blue-Ray drive or want to play High-Definition content at 1080p.
