whats better a 7950 vaporx or direct cu2 660ti? this rig is strictly for gaming im concerned about noise and coil wine ,also are these card worthy upgrades over my 2gb7770? i want something that will play 1080p arma 3,bf4,crysis3,gta5,metro last light ectect

Let's be honest, there is no clear winner and no one card is 'way' better. I'd say they are about average, so pick whichever is cheapest, comes with the best offer etc. I have the vapor x 7950 and it's a dream, plus i got 3 free games with it and a voucher.

Honestly those cards prefrom pretty close even with the extra memory bandwidth and all..You cant go wrong with both but people say the 660ti is better some say the 7950 is better

its a hard choice,i know 7950 get better frames, but the phyx integration into some of the games i wanna play makes me weary. ubad00d,is it true the voltage on the vaporx is locked? how is it for sound a coil wine? i have an quite a quite system and don't want to here anything like coil wine

I hear ati had probs with frame latency and its well known you can google it. Idk its your choice but as for me i would go 660ti

i think i am going to go with the 660ti because i know when i got my 7770 2gb i had driver problems and i hear team green has better driver support, also i play alot of team green games and plan to play games like metro last light and arma3 and those both support physx .and lets be honest the direct cu 2 660ti has the aesthetics in the bag aswell

I agree. I could of went ati as well before i bought my gtx 660ti but i didnt wanna chance it. Everyone has different opinions but in my experience i had no issues with nvidia with both of the cards i had and had some issues with ati but u will like the 660ti overall
