Yes you can. I would have thought you would have found the list of coolers on this site they updated about a month ago.
There are a huge number of coolers that will work, most difference are related to how well they fit on certain motherboards and maybe if you like LEDS.

I didn't see a comparison in the link. They tested it with 7950x and did not enter the results.

It doesn't matter what exact cpu they use. All that really matter is how much heat the cpu puts out. You can find the cpu power in watts and the cooler also kinda shows watts. You will most times see it called TDP.

Does little good to test say on a cpu that only uses 50 watts....all the coolers would test the same. They therefore try to test with a cpu that is can exceed the coolers ability, like a 13900k. That way they can see what the maximum number a cooler can hit. A cooler that is say best for a 13900k will also likely be best for all other cpu.

A 7950x uses a lot of power for a AMD cpu but it is no where close to the higher end intel cpus.

Whatever cooler you get, buy a case that can deliver sufficient fresh air to the cooler.

My 5970x is also a power hog, I chose liquid cooling with a 360mm radiator. Doubt I'd use air cooling for these CPU's.
