7970 GHZ running BF4 and BF3 badly.

I have had this card for about 4 months and I'm not very pleased. I have installed the latest beta drivers, but still I have not seen a performance increase. Even when turning my settings to low on both games I still get FPS drops into the 30's and 40's. If anyone had any knowledge to share I would be greatly thankful. Thank you.


EDIT: Running a FX 8350 not overclocked along with 8gb of DDR3 RAM.

what cpu? my 7870 can go ultra/1080p/40fps on BF3. Youre 7970 should do way better than that.

Network lag possibly? CPU should handle it fine.

Agree with rolli59, I have a 8150 and a 680 (similar card to the 7970) and 8GB of RAM, and in BF3 I was constantly in the 60's on Ultra 1080

in BF4 I am easily in the 40's.

Seems like something else is causing it to lag. Other running applications? Network lag?
