7970 matrix upgrade to MSI GTX 780TI Is it worth it?

Hello, just a quick question really would I see a noticeable difference?

at 1080p, not really, save your money and wait another generation of cards. it's a lot faster, but the 7970 is still a blazingly fast card

yes you would see a noticeable difference. if your on a 1440p or higher monitor the difference is even more noticable. were talking about a 30-35% difference in gaming fps across the board.

Still not really worth it if you already have a 7970; if you can sell it for a decent price then it would be worth it (sell for minimum of 300 or so)

well you are looking to pay over double the price for a %30-40% gain, so it's completely up to you if you think it's worth it.

some of the 7970's are worth almost $400 on ebay because of the crypocurrency mining. if you can get near $400 for your 7970, youd be better off just getting an evga 780 acx cooler for about $500. your still getting about a much faster card for only about 100-150 bucks more which is a very good price to performance upgrade ratio.
