7990 vs gtx 770 sli

thoose are the setups in my budget for the performance i want. sli setup is a bit more pricey (40£) but givea sligthly better performace, wondering if my case will be able to keep the sli setup cool though?

fan setup: mid atx tower corsair 300r
1 120 mm exhaust rear fan
2 140mm front intake fans
2x 140mm side intake fans
2x 140mm top exhaust fans

thoughts? and please, dont recommend the gtx 780, costs 40£ punds less, BUT gives significantly less performance vs sapphire 7990/ gtx 770 sli

Whats your resolution but one 780 would be cheaper then 2x 770s but 2x770s would be more powerful

Plenty of cooling. 770GTX SLI all the way. Although AMD has fixed some crossfire issues, they are still there, and who wants to spend 700-800 bucks on a gpu(s) they aren't working correctly (especially since they have had over a year with that architecture). I have used both in the past and now use SLI with surround and I love it! (both companies have had many issues with their multi gpu set ups over the years).

True and thats what took me off from thinking about amd because they have a good track record saying its been "fixed" when it never was
