have any one tried a PC133 7ns (143Mhz) CL2 set to PC166 CL3 and works?

what I want to to use the extra bits that I can't access now because my Dram is not at 143Mhz or shall I say my FSB is not at 143Mhz.

And I don't want my FSB to leave 133Mhz. keeps things easy for myself when it comes to figuring out what went wrong if any.

Best regards

I'm not sure I understand your question. However, to get your memory near 166 mhz without raising the FSB couldn't you set FSB to 132 mhz which then would allow you to use the HSTCLK+PCICLK option for your DRAM? (I'm assuming you are using a mobo that has that option).

Update:
Sorry, that works out to 176 mhz for DRAM plus AGP and PCI would be overclocked.
