When I am installing any sort of Autodesk product, the exception 0x4001000a is thrown under a 7z SFX error (see image). I've looked countlessly for a solution to of no avail. I attemped the TEMP folder solution, uninstalling 7zip, etc.
Where you get autodesk filesWhere are you getting your installation files from?
From official source for applications? Or are you talking about previously saved files?Where you get autodesk files
The application is newly downloaded. There are other versions are autodesk (installer) but no versions of AutoCad (what the program that's attempting to be installed above is). From official source for applications? Or are you talking about previously saved fileIts
All good haha. I did try that last solution but it didn't work, sadly. The download (didn't come from autodesk directly) worked on a different machine, but not another. I've researched that it might be some corrupt file (during OS configuration) that may cause that sort of exception to be thrown - I haven't the slightest clueDid the Autodesk files come from here?

Not trying to give you a hard time. The issue you are experiencing is common with dubious sources. Try verifying what you have.
Is this what you tried earlier?
