8.00gb(3.94gb usable) help

Basically, I have the issue above ^^ I've read other threads and tried, but no solution. I am on Windows 10 X64 bit version, so 64 bit basically. I have two 4gb 2133mhz hyperx Fury RAM, and I've tested both on two different slots(only have two on my MB) and they both work by themselves when j boot into Windows 10. Halp? No, I'm not on igpu, my build is Athlon X4 860k and a gtx 960

check the BIOS to see if it sees all the ram. there may be an issue with one of the sticks or one of them may not be in the right DIMM slot

I've tried, but the motherboard only detects 4098 MB Ram. However, I took one of the ram out and tested it in both slots, worked sucessfully and booted into windows too. I also tried the other stick with both slots, and it worked too. :?

is this a desktop or a laptop? and are you using an inegrated gpu or a dedicated one?

I have a GTX 960, and its a desktop XD I dont think you can switch out stuff in a laptop can you ?
