8 + 4 pin CPU connector

Right.

So I have an old Opteron server, specifically the one mentioned here:

The manual says that it needs the 8 pin power connector plus an additional auxiliary power connector, stating that it "must" be connected. My question is, do I actually need it, and if I do, where can I find a power supply that has both of these connectors so I can get this server up?

The 4pin connection is used when Overclocking and is not usually necessary if just running at stock frequency.

Right. I will test that once I get the PSU. The reason it raised any concerns in my situation is that the board includes onboard graphics, and is a dual socket.

On the H8DME-2, the board will not turn on without the extra 4 pin plugged in.
