8 bit panels

hello

planning to replace my old CRT with a LCD but i cant make up my mind

so many reviews and every one recommend differnt monitor?? :roll:

i'm looking for a 20 wide 8 bit for using the internet(sharp text?) watching movies and at arare occasions playing strategy games.

i want a crisp image so better forget about the TN panels or do you think its good enough for my use?

from what i have read here tn panels are not the best option for watching movies

image quality is inferior compare to other types of panels.

The cheapest 8-bit 20.1" widescreen LCD that I know of is the:

BenQ FP202W Black 20.1" 8ms

$220 + $15 shipping

It uses a P-MVA (AUO M201EW01 V0) panel.

The BenQ FP2020W is not an option for me cause they dont sell this

model over here (jerusalem).

How about these models: VIEWSONIC VP 2030b

NEC 20WGx2

or maybe you know about some other model worth to consider?

Okay, here are some 8-bit monitors you can look at:

Samsung SyncMaster 215TW
NEC MultiSync 20WGX2
Viewsonic VX2025
Viewsonic VP 2030b (possibly uses a P-MVA panel, but it's only available in Europe, I think)
Belinea 10 20 35W

midrange monitor is good enough for me (internet ,movies,strategy games).

But the Dell models runs at 16 ms??

isnt that to slow? :roll:

i mean if i will run amovie on it will it be the same as running it on a 6 or 8 ms panel??

Any way i dont know what i will buy

The most popular brands around here are the ones of SAMSUNG or LG (their price is also like in the us ).

if you know about a good monitor from those two please tell me and

also a review if you have .

samsung 215T not avaliable,the NEC 20WGX2 and the VIEWSONIC VP

2030b are both good monitors but to much expensive for what i am going

to use it,forget about HP or benQ and Belinea they sell here only

bestsellers models.

about the DELL ?? what do you mean "second hand" i thought i will buy

anew one :?:

SO just the VIEWSONIC 2025 remain ?any opinios about it ?it was out to

the market almost ayear ago probably will be replaced soon by abetter

model should i consider buying it??
