8 GB (doesnt say any is usable)

Hello guys and girls..

I just installed 8GB (2x4GB sticks) but where it should state how much is usable it doesnt.. just nothing next to 8GB..

Is this normal or have i done something wrong?

for he records i have a Dell 3010 sff.. the ram I put in are 2x4GB pc3-12800 (DDR3-1600MHz) non ecc,, HK316C10FK2/8 HYPERX FURY..

if anyone can help me i would be very grateful.

In task manager what does it say under source control? tab performance at the bottom,click this and a new window opens.

Where it reads resource monitor? If I click that then memory it reads as follows..

Available 6507 MB
Cached 1633 MB
Total 8094 MB
Installed 8192 MB

Does that mean something to you?..

If you want could you post a picture of it would be ideal,but that looks okay to me.The rest is then in use.
