Hello guys today i switched to a new motherboard because the old one (Msi x399 carbon gaming pro) crashed with quad channel ram (tried the ram on another PC and it was going problem free) but when i've put the ram on the new motherboard (Asrock taichi x399) with 32 GB ram ( HyperX predator 4x8gb 3200mhz cl16 ) Windows see the ram but 8 gb are hardware reserved and on the aida64 benchmark it says i have triple channel memory

here are some screenshos:

Solution
had the same problem, and tried everything (bios, registry, advanced boot...). But the solution for me was to test each stick separately first to make sure I didn't have a dead stick. then I systematically tried every combination of moving the sticks into each slot. if math serves correct, that's a total of 24 different combinations you have to try. mine happened to work on the 8th or 9th try. I know that it sounds tedious, but it worked for me.
