8 inch tablet too small for Microsoft Word

Hello,

I want to buy a tablet for lectures to make notes with a Bluetooth keyboard. I was looking at the Nvidia shield k1 as I am a big gamer and think it's a awesome device. However, is the 8 inch 1920 x 1200 screen on the shield too small to be productive with Word on android or should I get something larger?

I have Nvidia Shield K1 and its great for gaming because of the K1 processor and the graphic is just amazing!
I never tried to use office on it but if you want drop here a link to any app that you want to test and i will send you a screenshot and a photo of the tablet with the app that you can see if it fit your needs.
