8 or 16gb ram for PUBG and others

I5 4460 and 1060 6gb SC card, OS on a SSD

Currently have 8 gb. shoudl I upgrade to 8 or is that overkill with this CPU/GPU

Just getting back into pc gaming playing pubg not sure what else ill be playing

pubg recommends 8gb and some of the newer games recommend 16gb. for most people, 8gb is going to be just fine.

16 gb of ram is never overkill on anything. 32gb, is overkill.

While 8gb is fine you often will notice better performance with 16gb, especially with a game like PUBG which is online and poorly optimized.
