8 Pin Connector

I recently bought a MSI GTX 1060 and my 450w PSU doesnt have the 8 pin connector i need. The only 8 pin i see connects to the motherboard. The power supply is a 450w Inwin S-series.

Does you Inwin have a 6-pin? If yes, then you can simply connect the 6-pin in the 8-pin connector if it fits. The extra 2 pins are simply for more power and sense. It will still work even with 6 pins. As long as you connect it to the right:

Im not sure the only cord i see from the psu is going into my motherboard.

Then do you have molex connectors that are free? If yes, you will need to buy an adapter. ex:
8-pin to molex adapter

Or simply a new power supply. ^^

Get a new power supply, you are better off getting a good or mid-level power supply for about $50 than plugging in your new 1060 card to see it go up in smoke when the PSU or the power adapters fail.
