I finally got rid of all of my BSOD issues after much stress and time. My computer was/is still shutting down randomly with no errors or BSOD, and I am still having issues with the display driving crashing and recovering. I went to reseed all of my connections just to see if it would help my (suspected) power issues. When I unplugged the CPU power I noticed the clip was on the top side of the plug, but when I went to put it back I noticed the latch for the clip was on the bottom side of the plug. I am assuming I had the power cord put in backwards.

Could this be the reason my computer shuts down randomly?
Could any parts be fried/nearly fried?
Could this affect my display driver?

Solution
It can't be inserted backwards and if you could do it, the PSU should fail to start because the +12V rail would be grounded. What PSU do have? I've never seen a quality PSU that had the latch on the wrong side.
