I am planning to buy Thermaltake GF3 1000w for my 7900 XTX - https://in.thermaltake.com/toughpower-gf3-1000w-gold-tt-premium-edition.html
However it comes with only 2 PCIE connectors with four 6+2 connections, but since one 8pin connector can only power up upto 150w I will be needing a third one which isn't included with the power supply.
I am afraid to use the 2 extra PCIE connectors attached to the 2 main connectors since it is not recommended at all for the high end GPUs, what should I do in this case?
Can I use one of the PCIE connector form my current PSU which is also a 750w 80 plus gold fully modular unit from Antec, I am afraid I can't do that as well since it is not recommended as well.
Should I get a PCIE connector but then again wouldn't it be the same scenario as using the PCIE connector from my current 80 plus gold unit.

No never do that.
If you need a 3rd cable then buy one that is made to be used with your PSU.

Your PSU manual should say how much power a pigtail cable can put out, my Seasonic said 225 watts using one cable connecting both 6+2 ends.

I edited my post read it again.
It's not mentioned anywhere, not on the website - https://es.thermaltake.com/toughpower-gf3-1000w-gold-tt-premium-edition.html
and not the manual as well - https://file.thermaltake.com/file/qig/TOUGHPOWER_GF3_750_850_1000_1200W_Manual.pdf

However found 2 posts - https://community.thermaltake.com/index.php?/topic/349713-help-with-cables-for-toughpower-gf3-1000w/

where they are saying that -
we suggest that you keep your original setting: 1 cable with 1 connection and the 2nd cable with two connections.

When we designed GF3 1000W, we did consider that we will have this situation because of position limitation (we can't put one more 8 pin)

That's why we enhance our 6+2pin cables from 18 AWG to 16 AWG which could afford more watts.

That is usually what they rate it buy wire gauge and how long the cable is.

Didn't quite get you there, is this safe what they are saying using only 2 PCIE connectors and I can go ahead?
I would do it and not think twice.
That card has a 355 watt TDP might be a bit higher depending on the model.
Even using my power supply as a example.
1 cable with pigtail 225 watts, 1 x 8 pin from the other cable 150 watts, 75 watts from the pci-e motherboard slot, 450 watts.

420w tdp for the sapphire model, a bit concerned let's say if I am to overclock in future then it won't suffice.

Any updates on what you decided to do as im bascially in the same boat, like same PSU & Same GPU
Just go ahead, connect 1 cable with pigtail, 1 x 8 pin from the other cable, 75 watts from the pci-e motherboard slot. I am running my GPU like this with no issues at all.
