[SOLVED] 8 pin Pixie connectors for Corsair RM 850x do not fit

I have a RTX 3060 card and am trying to connect the PCIe 6+2 connectors to my power supply. I purchased the premium cables from Corsair.

However, only the 6 pin fits. The cables have a slider that you pull up to group all 8 pins together but the two that are separated will not go in.

I checked to ensure they were properly aligned. Any suggestions?

Solution
Sounds like you are installing it backwards? The 6+2 pin should go to the GPU. Corsair end should be a solid 8-pin connector for an RM850x.

Are you sure you purchased the proper cable set for an RM850x?

You are 100% correct! I'm a bit cranky this morning from spilling not one but two cups of hot coffee all over myself and my car after the lids popped off from Dunkin's. Clearly, I'm not in a good frame of mind. Thank you.
