Hi,
I am looking for some advice with regards to replacing the subwoofer driver for the Logitech z906 system, as it has given up the ghost after pushing it a little too hard with some 190bpm power bass mixes. I am also looking to learn something in the process.
I have been looking for almost direct replacements to the subwoofer specs (8 inch, 8ohm, 165 watts) I can find with little luck.
My questions are:
A) Can I replace with a higher wattage driver? If so, would it be able to take more punishment being rated for high power?
B) Would there be issues with replacing with 4ohm impedance? Like Amp damage?
C) Could anyone recommend a specific driver that would be suitable or a website (preferably UK) where I may find a wider selection than is available on Amazon.
Published system specs are:

Thanks for any help.
Kindest regards,
Dave.
