[SOLVED] 80 % GPU usage when Idle

I recently got a Gigabyte Geforce GTX 1080 G1 gaming and something really weird is happening, my GPU usage is 78-80% on idle. The card is also giving off coil whine witch stops only when I crank the core clock -400 in Afterburner. https://imgur.com/a/NJ20PgL

There could be multiple problems that cause this, however, let's just start with the software. Instead of getting the readings from MSI could you please go to Task Manager -> Performance -> GPU and see what its usage is there. If it still says 80 percent get back to me. Managed to fix it, it was a mining trojan that disguised itself as a Nvidia process
