Hi guys, I decided that it's time to buy a new PC to replace my 6 year old HP laptop with a good gaming PC. So I'm asking you to help me build the best possible system for the budget with a new monitor.

Approximate Purchase Date: this month

Budget Range: 800€

System Usage from Most to Least Important: gaming, internet, watching movies

Are you buying a monitor: Yes (Has it's own budget 100-150€)

Do you need to buy OS: No

Location: Slovenia

Parts Preferences: SSD and a simple black case

Overclocking: Maybe

SLI or Crossfire: No

Your Monitor Resolution: Best possible for the monitor budget

Additional Comments: I play SWTOR, and the upcoming Assassins Creed and The Division

And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading: It's time to replace my old HP laptop

Thank you for your answers.

Z.

Solution
You can use AntonM95 suggestion as basis.
Please do not forget, that due to GBP, you will pay more than your budget.

If you wanna cut the budget, you can do the following (one, all, or combinations):
1. Drop the SSD.
2. Get R9 280x instead of GTX770, or lower e.g. R9 270x to match your budget.
3. Drop the extra case fans
4. Get 1TB HDD instead of 2TB
5. Go for i5 4590 if you do not plan to OC.
BTW, H97 is not exactly meant for OC. Get better Z97 for OC
6. Drop the Noctua fan if you do not OC.
7. If you can find cheaper RAM modules like e.g. DDR3 1600, get it and drop the 2133.

Note:
- If you do not plan to OC, do not plan to use the iGPU, E3-1231V3 could be a very attractive alternative. E3-1231V3 has the same price as i5 4690k but basically is the same as i7 4790, but without iGPU. The sligthly lower clocking has almost no difference in performance.

I had to look for stores in my country because the shipping from UK is to high. So the build above with AeroCool V3X Black Edition case costs 895,43€ which is still affordable.

It's OK, I just needed a build to know what to search for in our stores. I compared hardware in 5 stores to get the lowest price...

Intel Core i5-4590 3.3GHz Quad-Core Processor (AGT 172,31€)

ASRock Fatal1ty H97 Killer ATX LGA1150 Motherboard (Mlacom 117,41€)

G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory (AGT 76,37€)

Samsung 840 EVO 120GB 2.5" Solid State Drive (Mimovrste 68,90€)

Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive (AGT 52,16€)

Asus GeForce GTX 770 2GB DirectCU II Video Card (AGT 305,97€)

EVGA 600B 600W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply (Sestavi.si 59,33€)

Samsung SH-224DB/RSBS DVD/CD Writer (Mimovrste 15,40€)

AeroCool V3X Black Edition (AGT 27,67€)

Total: 895,52€

OC isn't my priority... Would EVGA 600B 600W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply be OK?

You can go down on anything man, there are times where you must really cut expenses here and there. :)
I had to live with HD5770 for more than 2 years...better than having nothing...
