Notes:
- A 800-900 dollar build can do better than a non-k i5-4440 CPU
- A CPU cooler is not necessary with a non-k Haswell cpu
- H97/Z97 ATX should be the purpose, no longer is Z87 recommended

I'll try a build too in 5 minutes. Do you need Windows?

*Added Windows to this one, if you have Windows you could consider a Samsung 840 Evo 120/250gb.

I have these in mind for you. Note that a HDD or SSD can be added any time. If you choose one of the builds with a HDD, you can get an SSD instead.

Option 1 http://pcpartpicker.com/p/LvTxNG

Option B http://pcpartpicker.com/p/wh43Bm (different case, both are good but you might like the looks of the Evolv better)

Option C (cheaper case but not bad) http://pcpartpicker.com/p/kJj9Bm

EDIT: Switch the GPU to this http://pcpartpicker.com/part/asus-video-card-r9290dc2oc4gd5

and get Windows 8.1

Also, the 650w version of the PSU is only $10 more if you want it. http://pcpartpicker.com/part/antec-power-supply-tp650c

Hahaha that doesn't make the build cheaper lad! Anyways, he might consider spending more after all. He is sending personal messages instead of simply replying to the thread though. He doesn't know how PC components work and what he should do so I think he needs time to learn it all before spending money on anything really.

Its only slightly over $900 but worth it.
